Ben Shaffer has just released a great new tool for checking your clickbank commissions automatically.

This simple to install script can be set up in less than 5 minutes and will check your clickbank accounts hourly and email you if you’ve made any new commissions, saving you the time and hassle of logging on to do it.

I’ve got over a dozen different clickbank accounts and it can easily take a couple of minutes to login to each one and check for new sales, so I reckon this script is going to save me at least 30 minutes each day.

That may not sound like a lot, but it adds up to 12 hours a month!

Now that is a lot of time freed up!!!

Is it just me, or was the recent “Mind Control” Promo from Frank Kern a total pain in the ar5e..?

now don’t get me wrong, I don’t know much about Frank, but from what I’ve seen, he’s “the real deal” and does know his stuff, but the whole promotion seemed to turn in to “Total Overkill”!

yes, he gave away some pretty neat content for free, which is always cool, but over the last week or so I’ve had SOO MANY emails about it that I just got sick of them, I was even considering setting up a new rule in my spam filter to block anything with “frank kern” or “mind control” in it..

and then it all sold out in just 53 minutes..

I think the “limit” was set at 500 people.

Last night I started reading a new ebook that I managed to get a pre-release copy of a new report being released on Thursday.

Normally if a book is good I’ll print it off so I can relax with a cup of coffee (or a glass of wine) and read it at my leisure,

but this one actually sucked me in so totally that I was on page 47 before I even realised my cup of coffee had gone cold…

stop reading emails!

how much time each day do you spend reading emails?

yeah, I know, I do to, way too much!

so here’s an excellent project as we’re at the start of the new year:

Set up two folders in your inbox, one called “news-useful” and the other called “news-crap”, or something like that…

then as you get emails in, give them a quick read and decide which folder to put the email in based on whether you found it useful or not.

once every week or so simply check the “crap” folder and unsubscribe from any that don’t also have at least one entry/email in the “useful” folder.

Note: there should always be details of how to unsubscribe, usually a link to click on, at the bottom of any email “newsletters” you receive.

I’m a bit late reviewing this one, which I have to apologise for as it’s actually a really good ebook.

I mentioned in an email before the holidays that I’d been asked to review a specific ebook to see if it’s worth getting.

the book in question is called Project Quick Cash from Alok Jain and I managed to read through it over the holidays.

You could easily get the impression from the title of the book that it’s about quick methods for generating cash online, when, in my opinion, there’s quite a lot more to the book than that.

Some of the tactics and methods covered are pretty powerful and useful and likely to continue generating an income for quite some time.

The book is 82 pages long and cover 5 main “Tactics”.

My “crap filter” kicked in big time earlier today!

I paid for access to a membership site, that was released yesterday, as the sales page gave me the distinct impression that it would include some real valuable information.

I was wrong.

See, even I get it wrong now and then!

I was only in the members area for a few minutes before I started to get a sinking feeling as to the “value” of this “product”/service.

the sales page is VERY well written and I honestly believed I would discover something new and useful, or at least a tactic/method/way of making money online, or a new angle, or a new step by step plan, or something…

I’ve just been reading a free report from a guy I met (and had a couple of beers with) back in Oct called Alex Jeffries, a fellow Welshman. I may live in England now, but I was born in Wales, officially making me a “Taffy”.

I wasn’t planning on printing it out, as it’s 118 pages long, but it’s actually printing now as I write this, simply because it’s such a good read…

It’s not only full of real useful tips for launching your own product and making the most from any product after the launch, bt it’s also kind of fun to read as Alex has a cool writing style.
