promoting services and products that have a recurring commissions structure made a massive difference to my business when I discovered the true power of this “secret”…

the math makes it easy to see why recurring commission programs simply ROCK!

let’s say you’re promoting a product that pays you $10 commission per sale, as a “one off”

if you make one sale a day, you will have made $300 at the end of the first month, the problem is you’re going to make exactly the same again in month 2, month 3, month 4 etc.

BUT if that commission was recurring, then you would still only have made $300 at the end of the 1st month, but at the end of subsequant months you can see where the “recurring” effect kicks in: -

• end of month 2 = $ 600
• end of month 3 = $ 900
• end of month 4 = $1,200
• end of month 5 = $1,500
• end of month 6 = $1,800

so at the end of 6 months, for the same work/effort/initial sales, you would be getting $1,500 PER month MORE!

Obviously that’s somewhat simplified, for instance there would of course be cancellations and refuns over time, so the figures wouldn’t be quite that high, but you get the idea.

so it does kinda make a LOT of sense to concentrate your efforts on promoting products and services that have a recurring commission structure, but where do you find them..?

isn’t it nice when you come across something that actually does what it says it will..?

I made a post a couple of days ago about AutoBlogs and a new system that helps you automate the whole process of making money with these simple ‘autoblogs’…

well, I’ve now had chance to watch all of the tutorials videos, there’s quite 19 in total, covering everything you need to know.

and I’ve had a play with the software to see just how well it works and I’m impressed!

I’m going to put together a bit of a video for you as soon as I can to show you some of the stuff, I’ll post the video on http://imtesting.com as well as let me subscribers know about it as soon as it’s ready.

There are a couple of things I will note about using this system: -

1. yup, it’s true, you don’t need your own domain name or webhosting to use this, as it uses WordPress.com and Blogger.com “hosted” blogs.

this obviously has the advantage that there’s no cost involved for you, but the potential disadvantage is that you don’t actually “own” the blogs, so they could potentially be closed down at some point by the services involved, and you obviously can’t sell the blogs themselves.

that shouldn’t be a problem as long as your building lots of these and using them to get some cash coming in that you then re-invest in other areas of your online business, you should never just rely on one tactic anyway!

2. you do have to set up the blogs “manually” to start with, but that’s to make sure they don’t get shut down as “sblogs” (spam blogs) and it does only take 5-10 mins per blog, so not exactly a “biggy”, imho.

The point here is that you can easily get 10 of these set up and running in an hour or so, so do that four or five times a week and if each one ONLY pulls in $1 per day, you could easily be looking at $4,800+ a month, or $57,600 a year, in automated, recurring income!

Offering a bonus when you’re promoting an affiliate product can make a serious difference to the conversion you end up getting, and therefore how much money you make.

In early 2009 I was looking for a way to make an additional income and at the age of 49 I had very few choices left. I had grown up around automobiles and construction when I was a young man.

So most of my life I had been good with my hands.

I was considered a very good mechanic and welder. I was also pretty darn good with a tape measure and a knife.

I had grown up in a rural area of Michigan so hunting, fishing and self preservation were in the mix of interests to a young country boy and his friends. Yep…That is where my roots are!

My first real employment was welding positions. Then I worked to obtain my builders license and opened my own construction company. I really never did like working for someone else. I told you this bit of background to allow you to see that if you have a dream… it does not matter where you came from.

I had gotten a roofing job for my construction business last fall and almost fell off of the very high 2 story roof. It was a close call. It made me realize that I was not as young as I once was and I was not going to be able to do this any longer. I had to make a career choice again.

I had always been a very hard worker but mostly using my hands. I thought about some of the other talents that I had and knew that I loved to create things. I am a pretty good artist…so I’m told. I have dabbled with oils, charcoals, pencil, acrylics and have created some very nice drawings and paintings since high school. I loved to create things and use my imagination.

I also had to consider that I was once a very good sales man and had even won a trip to the Bahama’s for making top salesman Nation Wide for a mobile home company. How could I use these qualities to begin again at the age of almost 50 yrs. old and start over once more.

I don’t even remember how it all started really, but I do think that GOD gives opportunity to those who are willing to open the doors he places in front of them. I do remember reading a blog from one of John Thornhill’s first students.

Her name is Vickie Sayce. She was describing a class that she had taken on her blog and had links to another person that was eventually the one that helped pull back the edge that allowed me to make a decision to go ahead with the Master Class Program and start a new career in the Internet Marketing realm. 1. first of all it means you can change a long, ugly, and obviously affiliate url like this -

in to something shorter, esier to remember (depending on the url you use) and not so obviously an affiliate url, like this: -

http://mg.gd/a/botreport

which also allows you to choose the wording for the actual link, so you can use something descriptive and relevant, as I did in the link above, or a word that catches attention in some manner, such as: -

http://mg.gd/a/ferrett_sniffers

2. this also helps to stop affiliate commission “theft”, or “hoplink hijacking”, with popular affiliate systems like Clickbank, where it’s easy for a visitor to replace the affiliate link with their own, as shown in the video below.

3. using a cloaked affiliate link also allows you to place that link anywhere, such as on a blog like this, or in a free pdf report, and if for some reason in the future you need to change where the link actually sends people.

for example if the original product or service recommended is no longer available, then you can simply change the destination url in your cloaking system and send anyone clicking on the link to somewhere new…

3. any decent link cloaking system will have built in click tracking so you can keep track of your stats.
