For most people I'm sure that this would have been far too much to bare and they would have quickly disintegrated into a broken person. I left my job in the corporate world in my early 40's because my job had become unchallenging and unfulfilling to me. I was truly scared that I would look back on my life upon retirement and think "Why have I wasted my life just coasting a long and taking the money, when for most of that time I haven't been really happy". But to live a challenging and fulfilling life like Douglas has AND then losing it all - well that is beyond my comprehension at the moment. I was going to put a post on my blog about his story and not just because of the $500 inducement but because it is a message of self belief and perserverance that I am interested in. But then I started to get the sales letters. Unless I am missing something here (which is entirely possible), we are being asked to promote the product with a possibility of winning $500 but no commission for what seems to be affiliate marketing. Clever if you can pull it off but it left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth - so Douglas as far as I'm concerned "I'm Out" Which is a shame because there might be some valuable stuff in here. I understand that it is probably just another slant on 'Think and Grow Rich' but, lets face it, a lot of motivational material is and it is peoples experiences of putting it into action that make it come to life.
